Away from work, his interests include fantasy football, golf, running, and movies.  Guilty pleasures? Dr. Pepper and pizza rolls.

In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and fantasy football.  Noah is also a Star Wars geek.

Duane Hultgren, Ranch Manager

Duane has been the heart and soul of Hultgren Farms since he started farming full-time in 1972.  He has been an integral part of growth that has seen acreage go from 400 acres to 6,000 acres.

Duane has been married to Nancy for 46 years.  Together they raised four kids (Nate, Noah, Emily, and Carly).  They have 12 grandchildren.

Duane has served on the Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative board, NFO board, Raymond/MACCRAY School Board, Kandiyohi County Economic Development board, and currently is the chair of the St. Johns Township board.

He has a passion for cattle, and has taken a "hobby" herd of 20 beef cows in 2010 to 125 cows today.  Duane also operates the farm's irrigation systems over the summer and participates in the kidney bean harvest each fall. He has devoted much of his work time to developing wetland credit banks in conjunction with Fieldstock Realty.

Duane enjoys strategic planning, land improvement, and keeping a watchful eye to regulatory overreach.

His hobbies include golf, fantasy football, fishing, hunting, and watching Fox News Channel.  All of those go great with a Diet Mt. Dew!
